The earthquakes layer offers customizable reports on seismic activity in terms of severity and time. The hurricane layer keeps you updated about tropical storm and hurricane activity worldwide. The aviation layer overlays AIRMETs, SIGMETs, and other aviation-related data, even allowing you to track flights and display their IFR flight plans and paths. In this version, we have introduced a new feature that sends you alerts specifically related to Tropical Storm and Hurricane activity. You can customize the app to notify you whenever a tropical storm or hurricane forms, or if there are any upgrades or downgrades in intensity.

While MyRadar offers impressive free features, we also provide additional upgrades for those seeking even more functionality. For instance, our real-time hurricane tracking upgrade is highly recommended for the beginning of hurricane season. This upgrade offers additional data, including the cone of probability for tropical storm/hurricane forecast tracks, as well as a detailed synopsis from the National Hurricane Center. We also offer the professional radar pack as part of our premium upgrades, which provides greater radar detail from individual stations. Weather enthusiasts can select specific radar stations across the United States, choose the radar tilt angle, and even change the radar product being displayed (e.g., base reflectivity and wind velocity), perfect for those who want to stay ahead of possible tornado formation.
